Also opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, opening in the former home of The Great Movie Ride. When Pixar Pier, the overlay of the pre-existing Paradise Pier, opened this year at Disney’s California Adventure, it still wasn’t opened in its entirety. The final two elements of this new area, Jessie’s Critter Carousel and the Inside Out Wheel of Emotion, will open in 2019.
Epcot Forever Replaces Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
When Illuminations: Reflections of Earth finishes its impressive run at Epcot, it will be followed by Epcot Forever, a temporary show celebrating the legacy and history of Epcot. The show will run until 2020, when the new, permanent nighttime spectacular replacing Illuminations will debut.
New Entertainment Offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Later this year, a new nighttime spectacular, Wonderful World of Disney Animation will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in honor of Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ 30th anniversary.
